Justin Sun Meets with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov to Forge Central Asia's Web3 Hub and the Digital Silk Road
TRON founder Justin Sun held a high-level meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov to advance the nation's blockchain infrastructure, focusing on stablecoin adoption and the strategic vision of establishing a leading Web3 hub in Central Asia.

On April 18, Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, officially received Justin Sun, the founder of the TRON blockchain. The meeting addressed the pressing dynamics of global financial transformation and the strategic integration of virtual assets within the country's economic framework.
Pioneering the Digital Silk Road
During the discussion, President Japarov commended Sun’s significant influence in the cryptocurrency sector and his foundational contributions to decentralized finance. The Head of State articulated that modern technological innovations are architecting a new "Digital Silk Road"—a comprehensive network defined by open interaction and financial freedom.

The technical superiority of the TRON network was explicitly recognized at the state level. President Japarov highlighted that TRON’s high throughput, instant transaction finality, and minimal fee structure have established it as a dominant infrastructure for global stablecoin utilization.
Establishing a Regional Web3 Hub
The dialogue aligned seamlessly with Kyrgyzstan's aggressive push toward digital modernization. Japarov detailed the formation of the National Council for the Development of Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technologies, an initiative operating under his direct leadership. This council bridges governmental authority with the insights of globally recognized blockchain experts.

Within a year, the council has driven substantial policy advancements, initiating projects ranging from the launch of a national stablecoin and the testing of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) to the implementation of progressive regulatory pilot regimes.

President Japarov emphasized the nation's strategic goal to position Kyrgyzstan as the premier regional hub for virtual assets and Web3 technologies in Central Asia. He cited Sun’s visit as a clear validation of the country's open state policy aimed at attracting top-tier global technology leaders. This engagement further cements TRON's critical role as an institutional partner in sovereign digital transformation.
